Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 2026

1. Introduction

This privacy policy explains how Openmoov Ltd and The Good Pack Ltd ("we", "us", or "our") collect, use, and protect your personal information when you use the Openmoov platform.

Openmoov is a technology platform that connects estate agents, letting agents, suppliers, and property professionals. We are not an estate agent ourselves, but provide tools and services to facilitate property transactions and management.

2. Platform Responsibility

Important: Openmoov operates as a platform connecting agents, suppliers, and property professionals. Regulated activities conducted on this platform (such as property sales, lettings, and tenancy management) are performed by the individual agents or suppliers using our platform, not by Openmoov.

Each agent or supplier operating on our platform is responsible for their own regulatory compliance, including but not limited to:

  • Anti-Money Laundering (AML) checks and verification
  • Client money protection
  • Professional indemnity insurance
  • Compliance with estate agency regulations
  • Data protection for their own client data

We are not responsible for the actions of third-party agents, suppliers, or service providers who use our platform. Any disputes regarding property transactions should be directed to the relevant agent or supplier.

3. Data Controllers

Personal data collected through this platform may be held and processed by:

  • Openmoov Ltd

    Platform operator and technology provider

  • The Good Pack Ltd

    Associated services and operations

Additionally, estate agents, letting agents, and suppliers using our platform act as independent data controllers for the personal data they collect and process through their use of our services.

4. Information We Collect

We may collect the following types of personal information:

  • Account Information

Name, email address, phone number, business details

  • Identity Verification Data

For AML compliance where applicable - ID documents, proof of address

  • Property Information

    Property details, addresses, valuations, photographs

  • Transaction Data

Records of property viewings, offers, tenancy agreements

  • Technical Data

IP address, browser type, device information, usage statistics

  • Communication Data

Messages, notes, and correspondence through the platform

Trade and business contacts: We keep business contact details that tradespeople and firms publish themselves (for example on their own website) so that we can offer them specific jobs requested by our customers. Each offer includes a one-click opt-out; if a business opts out, we don't contact it again. We don't use these details for unrelated marketing, and a business can ask us to remove its details at any time by emailing hello@openmoov.co.uk.

5. How We Use Your Information

7. Data Retention

We retain personal data for as long as necessary to provide our services and comply with legal obligations. For property transactions, we may be required to retain records for up to 6 years for anti-money laundering compliance purposes.

8. Your Rights

  • Access your personal data

  • Request erasure of your personal data
  • Restrict processing of your personal data
  • Data portability
  • Object to processing
  • Withdraw consent at any time

To exercise these rights, please contact us using the details below.

9. Cookies

We use cookies and similar technologies (such as pixels and local storage) on our platform. When you first visit, we ask which kinds you are happy for us to use. There are three kinds:

  • Essential — always on

Needed for the platform to work: signing in, keeping your session secure, and remembering your cookie choice. These cannot be switched off.

  • Measurement — only if you agree

Google Analytics tells us which pages and properties are viewed and how the site is used, so we can improve it. Until you agree, Google Analytics receives only cookieless, aggregate signals that do not identify your browser.

  • Advertising — only if you agree

The Meta Pixel (Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd, for Facebook and Instagram) and Google Ads tags (Google Ireland Ltd) record which property pages you view and actions you take on our site, such as requesting a valuation, registering for alerts or booking a viewing. We use this to measure our adverts, to show you relevant property adverts on those platforms, and to avoid repeating adverts you have already seen. Meta and Google receive this information together with identifiers stored in your browser and use it under their own privacy policies. None of these advertising tags load until you agree, and they never run in signed-in account areas.

Our legal basis for measurement and advertising cookies is your consent. Declining them does not change how the platform works for you. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time using the "Cookie settings" link at the bottom of every page; withdrawing stops these tags from running from that point on. You can also delete cookies through your browser settings.

Cookies set by Meta and Google last for up to two years unless you delete them or withdraw your consent. To learn how Meta and Google use information, see their own privacy policies at facebook.com/privacy/policy and policies.google.com/privacy.

10. Security

We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. This includes encryption, secure hosting, and access controls.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify you of any significant changes by posting the new policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.
